Special Projects@Mesa School of Business
One thing I've noticed after 1.5 years of building Mesa:
The problems that end up mattering the most are almost never the urgent ones.
They're the ones sitting at the back of everyone's mind. How do we take career outcomes global? How does Mesa become the first call a founder makes when hiring (top 1%), not a LinkedIn post? Everyone agrees these are important. But there's always something more urgent that eats up the week.
So we're fixing that.
We're hiring for Special Projects at Mesa School of Business.
The idea is simple - one person owning our most critical long-term problem. The problem will change every year. Next year's might be something we haven't even thought of yet.
I won't oversell it. A lot of this is execution. Some weeks you'll be writing the strategy, some weeks you'll be on 40 calls trying to get a pilot off the ground. But a year in, you'll be able to point at a part of Mesa and say "I built that."
Who we're looking for:
a) 5+ years in startup business roles - strategy, growth, BD, ops, founder's office. Real ownership, not just a title.
b) You've taken something from 0 to 1 at least once
c) Strong academic background - the kind where the safe path was right there, and you picked startups anyway
4) You're comfortable starting before things are fully clear
You'll work directly with me and Varun Limaye.

Apply on the link in comments. I definitely read all DMs and cold emails :)
P.S - if you know someone who's quietly the "go-to person for hard problems" at their startup, please send this their way.
