The remit: • Financial statement analysis: profitability, working capital, cash flows and variances. • Reconciliations, accounting schedules and audit-ready documentation. • Compliance calendars, supporting records and coordination with the relevant professionals. • Capitalisation versus operating expenditure: understanding the accounting treatment and its rationale. • Management reporting that turns scattered financial information into decisions the founder can use. Freshers are welcome. I’m looking for numerical curiosity, spreadsheet fluency and the discipline to distinguish a verified fact from a convenient assumption.
