Entrepreneur-in-ResidenceCrashfree India
The sleeper bus that caught fire on NH-44 near Kurnool a year ago, killing 19, had 16 pending challans over 21 months. Nine were for the same violation. A challan history like that is a risk score. But an officer at a junction can't see it by looking at a vehicle.
Crashfree India's in-house tech, SATARK (Smart ANPR-based Targeting & Alert for Real-time Kaaryavahi), closes that gap. It's an enforcement co-pilot built for traffic police and enforcement agencies. It reads number plates, checks each vehicle's challan history live, and in about 10 seconds tells officers which repeat offender to stop, and why.
It started as India's first AI challan billboard in Bengaluru. Today it runs with police in Jaipur, Bengaluru and Gurugram: 8.45 lakh vehicles scanned and over 700 interceptions by police. It is set to launch in 3 more cities next month.
I'm hiring an Entrepreneur-in-Residence to take SATARK to 100 districts across India, starting with the districts where India loses the most lives. You'll run it like your own startup: the expansion plan, partnerships with police and state governments, and every launch until SATARK is part of officers' daily routine.
You've worked with government, built something of your own, and care more about impact than titles. You'll build and lead your own team and will get a budget, tech, and direct access to the leadership.
Gurugram-based, with frequent travel. Apply via the link in comments.
