At ConveGenius, were building technology to personalise learning and improve education outcomes across India, including in Indian languages and diverse educational contexts.Were looking for an ML Engineer with a strong foundation in Machine Learning, NLP, and statistical modelling who enjoys working with data, developing models, evaluating their performance, and translating findings into practical solutions.
What Youll Work On:
1.Develop and evaluate machine learning models for real-world education use cases.
2. Work with training or tuning ml models, SLMs, and model tuning pipelines.
3. Build evaluation frameworks, benchmarks, and data pipelines to improve model quality.
4. Experiment with open-source machine learning models.
5. Analyse model performance and optimise solution quality, latency, and cost.
6.Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deploy reliable ML solutions
What Were Looking For:
1.Strong Python programming skills and a solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals.
2.Hands-on experience with model development, experimentation, evaluation, and data preparation.
3.Knowledge of NLP, SLMs, retrieval techniques, and model evaluation.
4.Understanding of ML pipelines, deployment, and performance optimisation.
5.Ability to work with data and translate insights into effective ML solutions.
Must Have: Experience with model training, fine-tuning techniques (LoRA/QLoRA/SFT), and inference optimisation
