At GalaxEye, we're building the world's first Multi-Sensor Earth Observation Satellite and the platforms that turn that into real geospatial intelligence. Increasingly, those platforms run fully air-gapped: deployed inside secure environments, everything self-hosted, maps and imagery served from local infrastructure, working offline the first time.
Here's the part most full-stack engineers have never had to deal with: none of it can touch the internet. These platforms ship air-gapped, inside secure environments. No CDN for your fonts. No hosted tiles for your map — you serve those yourself, from local infrastructure.
We're hiring a Full Stack Engineer (On-Prem Systems) to build them end to end — schema to screen. 🛰️
No managed services to hide behind. Just real ownership, genuinely hard constraints, and systems that have to work offline on the first try — because there's no second one.
We don't expect you to know all of it yet. We're looking for the person who:
→ debugs like a detective — from a slow query to a map that refuses to render
→ teaches themselves fast
→ builds for the human on the other side of the screen, not just the ticket
→ treats a hard constraint as the fun part, not the annoying part
If "build real systems from first principles — end to end, for a mission that actually matters" sounds like your idea of fun, you are someone we are looking for.
