Venture Capital Associate@Sadev Ventures
A lot of people have asked me the same question over the last few weeks:
"Why move from being an operator to becoming a VC?"
It's a fair question.
I've spent my career building. Across fintech, consumer internet, and enterprise tech, I've had the privilege of working alongside exceptional teams at CRED, Snabbit, Paytm, Roadzen and Deutsche Bank. The last decade has taught me that building enduring companies is one of the most intellectually rewarding things a person can do.
And that's precisely why this next chapter feels right.
Today, I'm excited to share that I will be joining forces with Dhruv Dhanraj Bahl to build Sadev Ventures (Formerly Eternal Capital) as Co-Founder.
Dhruv and I have known each other for over a decade. Our paths have crossed more times than either of us can count, as friends, as sounding boards, and as people who have spent years thinking about businesses, founders, and what creates lasting value.
In many ways, this feels less like the start of a new relationship and more like a story that was waiting to happen.
What excites me most is not moving from one side of the table to the other.
It's the opportunity to stay close to what I've always loved: founders, products, customers, business models, and the messy reality of building.
As operators, we benefit enormously from an ecosystem that takes a chance on us. Founders share lessons. Investors share conviction. Teams give everything they have to help build something meaningful.
At some point, you owe it to yourself to give back. That's how I view this transition. The ambition is simple, even if the journey won't be.
Alongside Dhruv and the team at Sadev, we want to build a firm that founders genuinely want in their corner. One that combines capital with operating depth, long term thinking, and an obsession with helping great companies endure.
We are already working on a few exciting things that will unfold over the next 12 months, starting with our venture debt fund, which we plan to launch in the coming months.
We're still at the beginning. There is a lot to learn, a lot to build, and a lot to prove. But I couldn't be more excited for what's ahead.
To Dhruv, thank you for the trust, friendship, and partnership. It's rare to find someone whose values, ambition, and way of thinking about the world resonate so deeply. Building this together feels both exciting and natural.
P.S. We are hiring interns, fellows, and associates for our team across Bangalore and Delhi. We are also hiring for product, engineering, growth, business, and operating roles across our portfolio companies.
