Talent Acquisition Lead@Mesa
A few months ago, if someone had asked me who our best recruiters were at Mesa, my answer would've been:
"Ankit. Aditi. Parth. Tariq. Vinay. Basically... whoever was hiring." And honestly, that worked for a while. Someone would identify a need, reach out to a few people, run interviews, convince great candidates to join, and somehow we'd keep growing. Spoiler: that system starts getting a little chaotic once the company doubles in size. ๐Ÿ˜… Over the last few months, we've grown rapidly across Programs, Admissions, Career Outcomes, and a bunch of new initiatives. Which means a strange thing has happened. Hiring is no longer something we're doing alongside work. Hiring is the work. Because every new program, every new student experience, every new initiative eventually comes down to one thing: Did we find the right person to build it? So we're hiring our first dedicated Talent Acquisition Lead. And no, we're not looking for someone whose favourite activity is scheduling interviews and chasing calendars. We're looking for someone who: โ†’ Loves finding exceptional people โ†’ Gets oddly excited by difficult searches โ†’ Can build recruiting systems instead of relying on heroics โ†’ Thinks sourcing is a puzzle worth solving โ†’ Has spent time in startup Talent Acquisition (especially Seed to Series B environments) This is one of those roles where your impact will quietly show up everywhere. Future teams. Future leaders. Future programs. No pressure. ๐Ÿ˜Œ Form is in the comments! PS: If you're reaching out directly, tell me in 3 bullet points: 1. The toughest role you've hired for 2. A hiring process you've improved 3. One recruiting trend you're excited about (You know I like lists.)
