The engineering problems I enjoy most start with a simple question: how do we get a better image?
Then the real work begins. Glare. Shadows. Depth of field. Camera angles. Timing. Making the setup smaller without losing the detail that matters.
We’re expanding this work at Qualitas, and I’m looking for two people to help build it:
• A Senior Optical / Imaging Engineer who can reason from first principles, design experiments and turn an optical concept into a working prototype.
• A Machine Vision / Vision Application Engineer who enjoys bringing cameras, lighting, calibration and code together into a reliable physical system.
What makes these roles interesting is the ownership: you will help make the engineering decisions, test them with real hardware, and see what works.
Strong fundamentals matter more to me than matching every tool on a checklist. Optical simulation and experience with mirrors or multi-view imaging would be helpful, but they are not entry barriers for the optical role.
Bengaluru preferred. We’re open to full-time hires and experienced consultants.
