I am hiring for roles I will probably reject 90% of applications for It’s been a month of running Bigshot and we’ve already crossed the $10k mark, on track to 4x this month, if not more. I’ve been juggling with freelancers and contractors for projects but we’ve finally locked our first office space in bangalore which we will hopefully move into next month so I want to build the craziest team in the industry. Initial hires in any company are super important because they set the culture and these guys are the ones who grow the fastest. I have worked in startups all my life so trust me when I say these kind of opportunities do not come by often. It is definitely not for everyone tho because you will have to be entrepreneurial (you need that hunger in you & be willing to go the extra mile), accountable (high ownership of your tasks) and flexible (No one likes people who complain all the time) —— Here are a few roles that I am hiring for but you can also pitch your own. Open to Interns as well. - Influencer marketing executive - If you are experienced in infotainment creators and really good at negotiations. - Meme marketing executives (IG/Li/X) - We don’t do memes but this is what the role is called in the industry. Basically, If you have experience in clipping/seeding campaigns. You should be really good at building narratives and an avid doom scroller so you know the best pages in every niche - podcasts, OTT, music, bollywood, advertising, startup etc or best Ai/tech creators on Linkedin and X. Note: If you have done US launches then do reach out. - BD Intern - If you are very good at handling people , hustly by nature and excited by targets then this is for you. - Personal branding executive - If you have a good track record of growing personal brands on IG ie strategising client’s social presence, writing killer scripts and directing shoots to fit your vision then we want you. - Client servicing intern - If you love client facing roles and are great at co-ordination, super organised and can make sure you push everyone to follow deadlines then this is for you. - Video Editor - This person has to have great taste and knowledge about what works on socials, btw claude opus is so good at motion graphics editing so you should be aware about all the latest tech to make your workflows faster and better. A few things that matter to me: - Your communication skills - You should be confident and presentable - Proactiveness and ownership. I love people who are always throwing ideas on how we can do things better, faster etc. - You need to a good human being.
