Agri-Tech Project AssociateBelladon
We're hiring! Always imagined my first hiring post would be for my own company, but my dad beat me to it.
We’re looking for 2-3 recent graduates for a rather unconventional, paid, agri/agri-tech project on a farm near Rajapalayam, Tamil Nadu.
The idea is simple: give young people the freedom to build something of their own, instead of spending their first few years executing someone else’s plans. You’ll work on-site, alongside my dad, to identify opportunities, pitch ideas, experiment with technology, and build systems and processes to make the farm smarter and more productive.
No rigid job descriptions. Real ownership. The freedom to take an idea from “what if?” to “we built this.”
My dad, Mr. P. S. Ganeshan, is a veteran HR and Industrial Relations leader whose career has included senior leadership at Yamaha Motor India and other major companies in the Indian automotive sector. Having spent decades navigating complex labour relations and high-stakes organisational challenges, he brings a wealth of experience in solving problems that don't come with ready-made answers.
You’ll get to learn directly from him while applying that experience in a completely different setting.
We’re looking for curious, entrepreneurial people interested in agriculture, technology, operations, and building businesses from scratch. You don’t need to know everything. You just need to be excited to figure things out. Would be a great add on if you're fluent in Tamil.
The role is paid, full-time, and on-site. We’re keeping the team small so that everyone has the opportunity to make a tangible impact.
If this sounds more exciting than a conventional job, write to shreethigha[at]belladon[dot]co giving us some context about yourself, why this excites you, and why you - by the end of this month. Feel free to ask questions and go on tangents!
