Forward Deployed Consultant
Every project we take on starts the same way. The owner tells us accounts watches the boiler's fuel bill, and maintenance watches whether it's running. Nobody looks at the two together when it comes to the cost of steam generation. Two weeks later, an engineer needs to know whether to start from the test certificates or the breakdown log, and how the two connect.
Between those two moments sits the person who decides whether the project works. Most companies don't have a name for that seat.
Today, that seat is usually empty. The owner assumes the vendor understood. The engineer builds what was written down. Nobody wrote down the exception the storekeeper handles every Tuesday, or the rate the owner quietly agreed with one vendor. Those surface after go-live, as rework. Nobody did anything wrong. The handover simply had no one holding it.
For years, filling that seat took two people: one who could sit with a plant head, and one who could build. That has changed. Someone with real operations sense can now take a client's process and turn it into a working first version within days, using Claude Code or Codex. Screens, rules, validations, and sample data the client recognises as his own.
When a client sees his own process running on a screen in week two, the conversation changes. He stops describing and starts correcting. That is where the real requirements come out.
We're expanding and hiring for that seat.
Forward Deployed Consultant (Solution Design and Functional Build)
Remote. Client visits across India, 7-10 days a month.
Once a client signs on, the project is yours. You map how the client’s work actually moves, including what lives in registers and WhatsApp groups. You build it with the client, iteration after iteration, as deep as it goes, and you write down every rule and exception behind it. Then you hand it over so our engineers can scale it without guessing what you meant. Then the client’s next need shows up. You build that piece on its own and plug it in once the engineers agree on the fit.
You'll fit if you have 3 to 6 years in a client-facing role, have worked with clients from more than one industry, have used or implemented an ERP or CRM, and have had at least one solution signed off by a client. Hindi and English are a must. Gujarati helps.
One more thing. Don't send me your CV first.
Somewhere on your laptop is a tool you built (using Claude or Codex) because a process annoyed you enough. That is your application. Share the URL. Send it with a line on what it fixed, and we’ll talk about it before we talk about your CV.
DM me directly.
