Engineering ManagerPaylocity
A nurse with three jobs should file one leave request, not three. Today, that isn't simple. Getting there is one of the hardest problems on the team I'm hiring an Engineering Manager for.
Aidora (https://getaidora.com/) is the AI-native leave management product that Paylocity acquired this year. Its AI agent walks employees through leave requests via chat, phone, and SMS, answers policy and eligibility questions, and fills out forms. Now it has to become a native part of Paylocity's HCM platform.
What makes the role challenging:
• AI in production, under HR-grade rules. Retrieval of each customer's policies, a real-time voice agent, and models that must meet data residency and zero-retention requirements. Leave is compliance-heavy, so "mostly right" isn't good enough.
• Integration that's genuinely hard. Two products that model people and companies differently, identity and SSO migration, employee sync and leave events flowing into payroll and scheduling.
• A capable team mid-transition. Engineers who already have integration tracks, a new sprint rhythm, on-call in place, and a product that's moving onto a bigger platform. It needs a people leader who makes delivery predictable and grows the next layer of leads.
The role is based in Bengaluru (hybrid) and reports to me. I'm looking for someone who has led a team through an acquisition, reorg, or platform migration and shipped AI or LLM features to real users.
If that's you, or someone you've worked with, the listing is here: https://lnkd.in/eP2xbtda
