Senior Engineering ManagerSage
Hi all,
I'm hiring a Senior Engineering Manager to join my team at Sage Expense Management (formerly Fyle). Bangalore, hybrid.
We're looking for someone who enjoys both the engineering and the people side of the job. Someone who can work through a difficult architecture decision, help investigate a production issue, and coach engineers and managers to make better decisions themselves.
You'll own meaningful parts of the product, work closely with Product and Design, and build relationships with customer and partner engineering teams. Our platform serves businesses across 39 countries and powers white-label expense management experiences for banks and other partners. We handle over 7 million requests a day.
Strong backend experience matters here: Python, PostgreSQL and distributed systems. You should also be comfortable guiding frontend decisions and working across the product.
We're using AI in our engineering workflows too. I'd be interested in hearing what you've found useful, where it falls short, and how you help your team use it without compromising quality.
