Senior Technical Lead (Founding Team) Bengaluru · [Full-time / Equity-led] · Early-stage, India-first We are building a data-driven software product and need a senior technical person to take it from working prototype to production. You will own the build, shape the architecture and lead the technical side of the product. What you will do - Design and build a secure, scalable web product end to end - Integrate with third-party platforms and APIs, and make messy data trustworthy - Build and ship features that use AI models in production - Set up the data and machine learning foundations the product will grow on - Write and own the technical sections of a grant application, including milestones and budget logic - Work directly with the founder and, in time, hire and guide a small team Must have - 6+ years building and running data-heavy software in production - Strong in a modern back-end and front-end stack (Python and/or TypeScript), plus SQL - Hands-on experience with large language models: prompting, structured outputs, evaluation and cost control - Experience with OAuth and API integrations, rate limits, and data pipelines - Good grounding in cloud hosting, security and privacy, including India's data protection law (DPDP) - Clear written communication. You will be writing for grant panels and clients Good to have - NLP or ML work on Indian languages or code-mixed text - Experience with a startup grant, government funding or a technical due diligence - Background in analytics, ad-tech or commerce software - Experience as a first technical hire You are Someone who ships, explains your decisions plainly, and is happy to own something from zero.
