As a Payments Engineer, you will contribute to our core platform, focusing on building reliable and secure payment flows. You will work on components ranging from ledger systems to merchant-facing API integrations that simplify the global payment experience.
what you'll do:
- Design and implement secure payment orchestration systems for cross-border transactions.
- Develop and maintain double-entry ledger systems to ensure transactional integrity.
- Build automated reconciliation workflows to handle multi-currency settlements.
- Integrate third-party banking and payment provider APIs into our core platform.
- Implement idempotent API designs to ensure reliability across distributed systems.
- Configure and tune fraud detection rules engines to protect merchant transactions.
