If you enjoy leading multiple engineering teams, modernizing large-scale platforms, and building high-throughput data services, this role is for you. You’ll provide ;technical coaching and advisory across teams, anticipate cross-functional dependencies, and influence engineering direction and budget choices to improve delivery speed, quality, resiliency, and operational outcomes.
What you’ll do
Lead and coach engineers across multiple teams; set scalable operating practices Drive modernization of legacy services and re-engineer code for stability, scalability, and resiliency Scale ;enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering + SDLC/TLM automation ;with governance (human-in-the-loop validation, quality gates), reuse patterns, and measurable outcomes (throughput, defect reduction, reliability)Own execution risks, troubleshooting, and stakeholder escalation; contribute to roadmap/budget decisions Hire, develop, and recognize strong engineering talent
Technical skills
We’re looking for Java 11+,;Spring Boot ;(Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, JDBC Template), RESTful APIs ; microservices Event-driven architecture, streaming ; messaging (Kafka), idempotency, ordering, retries, DLQs Datastores ; RDBMS (Oracle/Postgres), NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB/Cassandra), caching (Redis), schema/data modeling Cloud-native on AWS;(compute, networking, security), strong engineering practices in testing (unit/integration/contract), code quality, and release
