Customer Onboarding ManagerReva
Some news: I'm building Reva, an AI workspace for businesses that run on WhatsApp. Starting with jewellery.
In July, I stopped working on Recon to go all in.
Reva started with a simple observation from my family's years in the jewellery business: a huge amount of work happens on WhatsApp.
Orders. Customer follow ups. Vendor updates. Staff coordination. Decisions.
The conversations are all there. The workflow isn't.
So I built an MVP. Reva connects a jeweller's WhatsApp and ERP, and uses AI to turn conversations into tasks, follow ups and records the team can actually act on.
Then I flew to India to test it with real businesses. I planned to stay a few weeks. I extended the trip as more jewellers asked to see it.
So far:
- 30+ demos
- 5 pilots
- More businesses interested
But the biggest thing I learned wasn't about the product. It was about trust.
When software connects to the conversations that run a business, people want to know exactly how their data is handled, who can see it, and what happens once they connect. And in family businesses, it's rarely one person's decision.
You can't send someone a link and expect software like this to spread. You have to sit with them, show it on their business, earn their trust, onboard them and train the team.
So I'm hiring my first employee in India. Someone to work directly with jewellery businesses on demos, onboarding and training while I keep building from the US.
If someone comes to mind, DM me or send this their way.
On a personal note, the longer trip meant more time with family and three birthdays, mine included.
More from India over the next few posts.
