Ericsson is hiring Senior System Verification Engineers to help validate and deliver 5G New Radio solutions, with emphasis on performance, scalability, reliability, and quality in advanced lab environments. The role supports release decisions and customer impact across the global RAN product portfolio.
✅Verification and performance ownership: The engineer will manage end-to-end verification of 5G features, test high-load scenarios involving user equipment capacity, downlink and uplink throughput, control-plane capacity, and mobility, and assess KPIs such as latency, resource load, and quality of service or experience.
✅Troubleshooting and collaboration: Responsibilities include root-cause analysis across PHY, MAC, RLC, PDCP, and IP layers; requirement analysis; live-network-oriented test strategy design; defect reporting; automation and CI/CD improvements; and collaboration with development, integration, and product management teams.
✅Required technical background: Candidates need a relevant engineering or computer science degree, with min 8 years of hands-on LTE or 5G NR system verification experience, strong RAN and air-interface knowledge, PHY/MAC performance expertise, Linux and networking skills, and proficiency in programming, scripting, configuration management, and automation tools.
