Robotics EngineerData Density
We’re hiring people who build hardware.
Robots learn from data, and the quality of that data starts with how it’s captured. Until now, we’ve worked with off-the-shelf capture systems. Now we want to build our own, here in India, and we’re looking for people to build them with us.
Data Density provides training data to robotics and embodied AI companies. Right now we focus on egocentric data (first-person video of real people doing real work across India’s factories and homes) and curated egocentric datasets, filtered and labelled for the specific skills and environments a model needs to learn. We also plan to move into UMI and teleoperation data over time, so the hardware we build today has to be ready for where we’re headed.
We’re looking for hardware enthusiasts and robotics engineers across mechanical, electronics, embedded, and sensor systems. If you like building physical things and getting them into the real world, this is for you.
What matters most to us is agency. We want people who see a problem and solve it without waiting for a spec or permission. We’re a small team that crossed $1M in ARR within a few months of starting, and you’d be joining early to build the infrastructure everything runs on.
If this sounds like you, DM me or send your work to saras@datadensity.xyz. Share what you’ve built.
