At Valmo, Meesho’s logistics arm, we’re looking for passionate Data Scientists with experience in to Operations Research to tackle challenging problems across network optimization, routing, scheduling, resource allocation, and capacity planning. 🔍 What you’ll work on: 🔹 Designing and solving large-scale LP/MILP and combinatorial optimization problems 🔹 Building optimization models for network design, routing, scheduling, allocation, and capacity planning 🔹 Applying decomposition techniques, heuristics, and optimization under uncertainty 🔹 Combining Operations Research with ML/DL to improve forecasting and decision-making 🔹 Owning projects end to end, driving business outcomes, and mentoring fellow data scientists 🎯 What we’re looking for: ✅ Strong expertise in mathematical optimization and large-scale solution methods ✅ Hands-on experience with solvers such as Gurobi, CPLEX, or OR-Tools ✅ Strong Python, SQL, and software engineering skills ✅ Experience deploying optimization models in production ✅ Working knowledge of ML/DL and the ability to connect optimization with real-world business impact 📍 Location: Bangalore | 5 Days WFO 💼 Experience: 4+ Years of experience.
