As a PLC Programmer at Tata AutoComp Systems, you will work within our Pune facility to ensure the seamless operation of our high-volume production lines. You will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing automation systems that support our expanding Electric Vehicle and automotive component portfolios. This position requires hands-on technical expertise to implement robust control solutions and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) across our manufacturing infrastructure.
what you'll do:
- Develop and deploy PLC logic to control and automate complex automotive manufacturing assembly lines.
- Design and configure intuitive HMI screens for operator interfaces to ensure efficient machine control and monitoring.
- Integrate and troubleshoot industrial communication protocols including Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP.
- Manage Ethernet-based network configurations including ring topologies, RSTP, and HRP implementations.
- Perform diagnostic activities on fiberoptic cabling and industrial networking hardware to ensure maximum uptime.
- Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to identify process bottlenecks and implement technical improvements.
