Softdel is seeking a dedicated Japanese Interpreter (N2) to serve as a critical communication liaison within our international engineering organization. You will operate at the intersection of technical delivery and client relations, ensuring precise information flow for our work in industrial and building automation. This role is pivotal for maintaining alignment between our Pune-based development teams and our growing client base in Japan.
what you'll do:
- Translate complex technical specifications and project requirements between Japanese and English in real-time.
- Support engineering teams during client meetings, design reviews, and project status updates.
- Document meeting minutes, technical requirements, and project updates in both languages with high accuracy.
- Collaborate with project managers to align cross-functional teams on project timelines and operational constraints.
- Assist in the localization of technical documentation and training materials for industrial and building management systems.
- Provide cultural context and business etiquette guidance to internal teams working on Japan-based projects.
