As an SDE 3, you will own critical features of our platform that connect hosts and attendees in real-time. You will work within our core engineering team in Koramangala to scale our backend systems as we expand our footprint across urban centers.
what you'll do:
- Design and implement scalable backend services using Python to support real-time event discovery and community matching.
- Optimize database queries and system architecture to handle increased load as our platform grows beyond 200,000 users.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to translate complex social requirements into high-performance technical specifications.
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, technical design sessions, and pair programming.
- Architect and maintain robust APIs that power our hyper-local mobile and web experiences.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in our event scheduling and user matching algorithms.
