As an intern at Aereo, you will contribute to the development of the Aereo Cloud platform, transforming complex drone survey data into actionable operational insights. You will work alongside our engineering team to design, build, and maintain production-grade software that bridges the gap between field data capture and enterprise decision-making. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with modern backend architecture, API development, and data-intensive workflows.
what you'll do:
- Develop and maintain robust REST APIs to support Aereo’s operational intelligence features.
- Write efficient, clean, and maintainable code in Python for backend services.
- Implement data processing workflows that handle large volumes of imagery and survey analytics.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate microservices into the core platform architecture.
- Design and optimize SQL database queries to ensure reliable data retrieval and storage.
- Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions to uphold engineering standards.
