Crunchyroll is looking for an AI Engineer to build and scale data-driven solutions that connect fans with content across our global streaming platform. You will work within our technical organization to bridge the gap between prototype research and production deployment. This role focuses on implementing machine learning applications that improve discovery and personalization for the largest library of anime in the world.
what you'll do:
- Design and develop machine learning models to improve content discovery and recommendation engines.
- Transition AI prototypes from research environments into scalable production services.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate data pipelines and model inference into existing streaming infrastructure.
- Conduct rigorous A/B testing to measure the impact of model improvements on user engagement.
- Write production-grade code that adheres to industry software engineering best practices.
- Analyze large-scale datasets to extract insights that inform product strategy and content curation.
