As a Staff Engineer at Pronto, you will play a critical role in scaling our backend architecture to support rapid expansion across Indian cities. You will collaborate closely with product and operations teams to optimize the hyperlocal logistics that enable 10-minute service delivery. This role focuses on high-impact technical leadership, ensuring our platform remains reliable and performant as our user base and service provider network grow.

- Design and implement scalable backend services to support high-frequency, real-time hyperlocal operations.
- Drive the technical strategy for distributed systems that manage service scheduling, dispatching, and worker matching.
- Mentor engineering team members and foster a culture of high-quality code and architectural excellence.
- Collaborate with product managers to translate complex operational requirements into efficient, maintainable technical solutions.
- Improve system reliability and performance by identifying bottlenecks and implementing robust infrastructure optimizations.
- Lead complex technical initiatives from initial design through to production deployment and monitoring.
