Apica is developing the infrastructure required for the AI era, focusing on telemetry pipeline control and data readiness. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work on the backend systems that power our Ascent platform. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of telemetry data, including ingestion, processing, indexing, and query performance for logs, metrics, and traces.
what you'll do:
- Design and implement high-throughput ingestion pipelines for diverse telemetry data sources.
- Develop robust backend services to process, enrich, and govern data before final storage.
- Optimize storage and indexing strategies to ensure efficient retrieval of metrics, logs, and traces.
- Maintain query systems that support high-performance access to large datasets.
- Collaborate on the integration of OTLP and other standard telemetry protocols into our existing pipeline.
- Ensure system scalability and reliability within Kubernetes environments.
