Nyayanidhi is building a vertical GenAI stack specifically for the Indian legal and judicial system. As a Compiler Researcher, you will focus on the intersection of formal methods and legal logic, exploring how compilers can translate complex regulatory and judicial frameworks into machine-executable formats. You will contribute to our core infrastructure by researching novel approaches to formalization that ensure reliability within the judicial domain.
what you'll do:
- Design and implement specialized compiler architectures tailored for legal logic and formal verification.
- Develop formal proofs and models to ensure the mathematical accuracy of legal reasoning within the system.
- Research domain-specific languages (DSLs) to represent complex litigation rules and judicial proceedings.
- Build prototype compiler components from scratch to optimize performance and correctness.
- Collaborate with legal experts to refine the formalization of statutes, codes, and procedural law.
- Evaluate and integrate advancements in formal methods to enhance the reliability of our AI-driven stack.
why join: Nyayanidhi offers the opportunity to apply advanced computer science research to modernize one of the most critical systems in India, directly impacting the accessibility and reliability of the judiciary.
