Teal India is building a comprehensive database of property records to digitize the mortgage and home loan due diligence process. As a Data Engineer, you will own the development of pipelines that ingest data from hundreds of government sources and translate it into actionable intelligence. Your work will directly improve the accuracy and speed of our Digital Property Search Reports.
what you'll do:
- Design and maintain automated web scraping systems to collect data from government property portals.
- Develop and maintain document parsing infrastructure for structured and unstructured document extraction.
- Improve data ingestion pipelines to handle multilingual text and complex document formats.
- Refactor legacy ingestion scripts into modular, reusable, and testable components.
- Implement data quality validation workflows to ensure the reliability of downstream reports.
- Document data assumptions, schema changes, and edge cases to maintain system integrity.
