Topiq is building an AI-powered search and experience platform that leverages retrieval-augmented generation to optimize commerce, workplace, and customer support workflows. As our Lead Data Engineer, you will own the design and implementation of our data warehousing strategy to support high-performance AI applications. You will work closely with application engineers to ensure our data infrastructure is scalable, secure, and ready for production-grade generative AI use cases.
what you'll do:
- Design and maintain production-grade data warehouse architecture using Snowflake.
- Develop multi-tenant data environments to support diverse customer deployments.
- Implement and maintain automated data quality monitoring and testing frameworks.
- Define and enforce data security, governance, and access control policies.
- Partner with application engineering teams to design efficient data pipelines and integration patterns.
- Document architectural decisions, data schemas, and infrastructure configurations.
