Tal is an AI talent agent designed to facilitate direct hiring between talent and employers. As a Backend Engineer, you will contribute to the core services and architecture that power this matching engine. You will own the full development lifecycle of backend features, from initial database design to production deployment and monitoring.
what you'll do:
- Design and implement scalable APIs to support user-facing product features.
- Manage database schema design and execute incremental data migrations.
- Build and maintain robust integrations with external platforms using webhooks and REST or GraphQL.
- Optimize service performance using observability tools to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
- Containerize backend services and manage deployments within a Kubernetes environment.
- Collaborate on architectural decisions to ensure system reliability and security.
