As bigbasket continues to scale our online supermarket and quick commerce operations, we are looking for an Engineering Manager to oversee critical backend initiatives. You will lead a team responsible for evolving our systems to support an increasingly diverse range of categories and high-volume transaction loads. This role focuses on driving technical excellence, system reliability, and collaborative product development within our Bengaluru-based engineering organization.

- Lead and mentor a team of engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions.
- Drive the evolution of core platform components, including the transition from monolithic architectures to microservices.
- Partner with product and design teams to define roadmaps, prioritize features, and align technical output with business goals.
- Oversee cloud infrastructure and data platform migrations to improve system efficiency and performance.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators to ensure operational excellence and system health.
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
