The International Positive Psychology Association is seeking a technical leader to evolve our digital infrastructure, which supports a global community of researchers and practitioners. You will own the full-stack development lifecycle, focusing on creating robust membership experiences and improving how we share science-based content. This role is central to advancing the organization's mission by building highly available and scalable web services.
what you'll do:
- Design and maintain scalable full-stack architectures using the MERN stack.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless data exchange across platform services.
- Manage and optimize MongoDB databases to support high-performance data storage and retrieval.
- Implement search capabilities using Elasticsearch to improve content discoverability for members.
- Create comprehensive analytics tools to track engagement with organizational events and scientific resources.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate organizational requirements into technical solutions.
