Site Reliability Engineer@Slice
Great opportunity for SREs and DevOps! Few things we look for: engineers who know where their tools stop working.
Not just "I've used ALB", but knowing it can drop requests on a sudden 10x spike, and when to reserve capacity ahead of it. Not just "S3 is replicated for DR", but knowing the objects that existed before you turned replication on never made it across. Not just "ECR lifecycle policy", but knowing it will happily expire an image a running pod still depends on.
The second is IaC, automation and self-serve as the default. Can you build platforms and reduce human in the loop except for reviews?
And as a bank, slice brings problems you don't see everywhere: multi-account, multi-region, and DR readiness that gets drilled, not just documented.
If you want to go deep on problems like these, let's talk.
