Aurora is looking for a Software Engineer to join our Vehicles Platform team — the team responsible for making our autonomous hardware come to life! 🔧 What you'll do: Develop C++ interfaces for Lidars, Radars, Cameras, and embedded devices Support new vehicle platform bring-ups from the ground up Optimize onboard CPU, GPU & memory performance Build tools to monitor real-time hardware health & telemetry Validate code using Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments ✅ What we're looking for: Strong C++ fundamentals (data structures, memory management) 1–2 years of hands-on hardware-software interaction experience Comfortable in Linux environments Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, serial) ROS/ROS2, microcontrollers (Arduino/STM32/ESP32) Lidar, Radar, or Camera experience CAN bus or Automotive Ethernet knowledge 💡 At Aurora, your code doesn't just run in the cloud — it runs on real trucks, on real roads.
