Senior Cloud Operations Engineer: 📍 Location: Bengaluru, India | 🕓 Full-time | 💼 Hybrid / Onsite We’re looking for a highly skilled Linux Systems Engineer to manage and optimize large-scale production environments, ensuring maximum availability, performance, and reliability across OCI Compute. 🔧 Key Responsibilities - Administer, monitor, and optimize production systems across global environments. - Troubleshoot complex system and infrastructure issues, driving root cause analysis and long-term fixes. - Automate repetitive tasks using Python, Bash, or Shell scripting. - Support virtualization, networking, and cloud infrastructure components. - Utilize monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) to ensure system health and uptime. - Participate in on-call rotations and drive operational excellence in incident and change management. 🧠 Required Skills & Experience - 6 to 10 years of IT industry experience, having core competencies in Linux administration and infrastructure support. - Expert knowledge of Linux internals, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. - Experience with virtualization technologies, cloud computing, networking fundamentals, high-performance computing, bare-metal infrastructure, and the concept of data center operations. - Scripting ability (Python, Bash, Shell). - Hands-on experience in Incident Management and Change Management. - Ability to deep dive into complex issues, root cause analysis. - Working experience with telemetry and monitoring tools (like Grafana and Prometheus) and ticketing tools (like JiraSD). - Proven track record managing high-availability, high-performance production systems at a very large scale.
