Instead of writing a long, boring JD, here's the deal. We solve problems for 30M+ mid-market shopkeepers. Unlike other payment companies that sell the same static QR and the same soundbox to both a hardware store and a pani puri shop, we believe a hardware store is not the same as a pani puri shop.Their complexity is different, their workflows are different, and our solution must cater to them—not just hardware, but horizontally across segments. We go deep. We build hardware, write the OS, enable peripherals, handle payments, and give shopkeepers complete control of their counter. In short, this role requires crazy context switching. It requires making trade-offs that most PMs don't even see. It requires razor-sharp prioritization for things customers will find valuable enough to pay for. And it requires handling all of this at scale. Now you must be thinking I'm hiring a super experienced person. - No. We believe experience is earned by building. If you've built anything beyond just an app, have 3+ years of experience, and have worked with a team of 20+ people, we'd love to talk. These are key requirements and non-negotiable. You could have worked on a vehicle display that syncs with an app. Or an app that works with a printer. Or any product where software interacts with hardware. But if you've only built software, this role probably isn't the right fit. Obviously, you should be good at managing Jira. And if you're technical, that's a huge advantage. :) At Tohands, product is the heart of everything we do. These are the principles we use to operate our product team.
